Founded in 1888 in Great Britain by the brothers Ralph and Albert,
Slazenger has a become over the years one of the leading sports
companies in the World.
In 1902 Slazenger tennis balls were first used at Wimbledon. In 1932
Fred Perry switches to Slazenger rackets before winning his first grand
slam title in the US in 1933 and the first of his three Wimbledon titles
in 1934. In 1941 Slazengers London factories were damaged during the
Blitz forcing relocation to Horbury.
Today Slazenger is famous for its clothing line for sports and leisure.
